About Findlay / Lima
Often called Flag City USA, Findlay in northwest Ohio is home to an oil-refining headquarters.
Flag City USA flies its banners along the Blanchard River, and Findlay's economy leans on Marathon Petroleum's headquarters, while Lima, to the south, is known for its refinery and the Army's tank plant. Flat northwest Ohio cropland surrounds both, so tractors, grain trucks and lawn equipment are staple listings.
A local tip for Findlay / Lima
The Blanchard has a long flooding history in Findlay, so ask sellers of basement-stored items or used vehicles whether they've been through high water.
